Katherine and Laura-Lee met with Jordan McAdam, from JMC Career Coaching to discuss her background, setting up the business and how she can support the wider Keenan Community to achieve career success whether it is kicking off their career, interview coaching, managing nerves or making a career transition.

Jordan has a background in Speech and Drama Tuition and almost 10 years recruitment experience globally.   She is a wife and mum to 2 boys so life is always busy and multi-tasking is the name of the game.  Jordan discussed that the magic of timing and seeing a gap in the market when it comes to supporting candidates navigating their career, especially during periods of change and unexpected circumstances, and felt that her personal circumstances gave her the confidence to take the leap and launch JMC Career Coaching.

Jordan told the Keenan Team about the very real impact of her services when she discussed one of her clients who had been through a redundancy after 30 years in the same company and had started to become very disheartened and disillusioned about finding work which led to a period of depression.  Jordan met with him on a one to one basis to provide reassurance and break the recruitment journey down into manageable steps providing advice and guidance every step of the way.  From CV writing, LinkedIn and Social Recruitment, job searching, interview coaching, mock interviews and constructive feedback.  Jordan was happy to report that her client is now in a rewarding role and enjoying life and career.
